Thread: BB 9900 gets warmer and battery drains quickly

I am using BB 9900 for last over a month in Pakistan using a Telenor connection.
Although the battery life is little as compared to the earlier used models, I have kep all applications closed.
A couple of times it has happened that the set has become warmer and battery drained quickly.
I have seen similar complaints by other users on other forums as well regarding battery life.
Pls advise any thing to get battery life enhanced to last atleast 24 hours.

Which OS do you use ?

There have been a few people with similar issues. Could be a bad battery.

24 hours is impossible, best that I could have mustered is16 hours
as for ur bb getting warmer and battery drain is because of ur 3G connection
sometimes when connection gets bad and then back to normal phone keeps on trying to connect
( this happens a lot in Lebanon)
