Thread: I need help for BB9900!

I have one customer BB9900 Arabic, the complain is> when you write something then followed by double zero then press delete it will hung for a second but in english mode no problem please help me for this bugs!:Eyecrazy:

What OS version is the device running? Have you you performed a battery pull?

i tried those version: VodafoneDE_9900_7.0.0.296, v7.0.0.1465 (Multilanguage, 9900AllLang_PBr7.0.0_rel1672_PL5.0.0.544_A7.0.0.35 3 all same problem i test 10 units with different version they have the same problem.

Could be a OS bug since Arabic is written from right to left, and numbers are written from left to right, the action of deleting could be conflicting. This could be causing the delay. Just a guess.

I just tried what you explained on my 9930 in Hebrew, which is written from right to left as well, and I don't get any delay. Looks like a OS Arabic language bug.

i hope the next update for all language will be fixed.

You never know, sometimes bugs will get fixed and then show up again in later releases. Let us know if your next update solves the issue.
