With the recent launch of several different BlackBerry OS 7 devices, it was only time until I (TwistMyMind) would make the jump to one of these lovely devices. Join us as we take the journey of unboxing a BlackBerry Bold 9900 from Telus Mobility.

Okay, where's my shirt so I can have it as a background for my Dutch unboxing? :P

Wondering 2 things:
Why do you (in North America) get a holster (te me a case with clip) and I get it wothout the clip? So just a case of some sort?
You can clip it to the belt, and I put it in my pocket
Whats that plastic on the front? Mine was transparant, this one seems to have something written on it.
But.... isn't she sexy? I s lovemine *does the happy dance*

I do not think I have ever used the BlackBerry case that it comes with it. Especially since OtterBox came to the scene. Protecting my phone is my number one priority, because I drop them all the time.

I use the cases, funny thing about the otter box is it protects the phone, yet it's easy to lose your phone!
I find the holster releases the phone without you knowing,(bending,getting out of a car, climbing ladders, getting caught or bumping something...ect. Had this happen one too many times and stopped using the otter box.
And I'm not the only one, found a co-workers company phone on the isle of the factory floor, yet one does not give up on them right away.
Their great without using the holster, only thing is then the phone is too thick for your pocket.....oceanghost

I never lose my phone. My BlackBerry may as well be grafted into my hand. lol

Okay.... First, Coockie needs to work on his spelling and grammar :S Sjeez...
No what I mean is that there are differences when it comes to containce of the box, like a different case / holster.
Also on the front sticker / plastic it seems to say something, can't see what it is :P
Im gonna start using my case, my 9700 has little scratches on the screen :S It's the forst one ever being scratched...
Maybe Ill win the otter case :P
But for now, my 9900 will be protected even if I need to get a kevlar case
