If I understand you correctly, you have the app downloaded but can't find an icon for it? Suggestion: Look for App World in your options under applications. If it's installed, delete it and reboot your phone. Then go to BlackBerry Wallpapers, Ringtones, and More using your phone browser and download App World. Good luck and please let me know how it goes! :)
I have done that several times but it still didn't appear. I have also downloaded the lower version of the app world but still can't find it.
Okay, let's try a few things. First, type "BlackBerry ID" in your universal search and see if there is an update for BBID. If so, update. Next, uninstall App World from your Application Management and give your phone a battery pull. Now, on your phone's browser, go to rroyy.com and find the older version of App World (make sure it's the one for your os!) and install. Once installed, reboot your phone again. If you haven't found success with those methods, hook up your phone to your laptop and go to your Desktop Manager. Click on Applications and see if you have any updates (system updates?). Try to delete and install App World from there too.
