Thread: how do i remove uninstalled apps from appworld

Please help me with this
when i delete apps in appworld they appear in uninstalled folder
how do i get rid of them?

Unfortunately, there is no way to get rid of an app from "My World" once installed.

If it is uninstalled it will remain in "My World" with a status of "Uninstalled" so it can easily be installed again (this issue has been brought up many times, and RIM says it's for users to go get it back quickly) in case they wish to re-install it.

Some users will tell you to go into App World running on your device, hold down ALT and press the letters RST.

All that does on your BlackBerry device is clear out App World's cache (which is a good thing).

I have tested this on my Bold 9900, and other devices as well, same result.

If you're asking about how App World performs on different devices you mean? or how other BlackBerry devices are compared to my Bold 9900?

I have used several BlackBerry devices, and it's very difficult to say exactly, but out of all the phones I've used, the Bold 9900 is everything I need & want.

RIM has answered my call.

Agreed - 9900 is the best phone I've ever had.

I believe BlackBerry App World has updated this uninstall issue (since many users have asked about it).

You can delete any uninstalled app on the uninstalled tab.
