Sometimes when I reboot (at least two or three times recently) I have had the following message:
Uncaught Exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException
I don't know after what installation it started appearing, whether it was an install or an update.

Are you using 3rd party themes or the default theme?
I have been using THIS theme for around 3 weeks now, but the message has only been the last few days.

Try this for me Paul. Back up your BB using Desktop Manager. Then go back to a theme that came with your device and delete the theme you are using now. Re-boot your phone and let us know if you still get the same error.Quote:

As the previous two replies said,the problem maybe with the 3rd party theme or shrinking your OS if you've shrunk it.
It's probably not the theme. Most likely it's due to a certain app that was installed.
Sorry for the delay - I found the problem yesterday - a football app was causing it -and a quick re-install cured it too.
