OS7 is not for your device. Even if you could remove the XML file from the v6.0 software you still wouldn't be able to put v7 software on your BlackBerry. RIM decided to have the software, upon the building portion,to be put together without legacy capability. "Without Legacy software" simply means that the software will not be backwards compatible to use on other devices created before the inception of the OS7. I'm sure eventually RIM will downgrade the software so it could possibly be used for only a few BlackBerry devices that were created just before OS v.7 was released. But if that does happen, it won't be happening for a while.

RIM's already said that OS7 will NOT be compatable with any current BlackBerry devices. It's very likely the only devices to support OS7 will be the just announced devices as QNX is right around the corner.

Is there any way to use BB Internet Services on my 9780 without paying any daily rentals to the service provider?
I'm in Sri Lanka and using 'Mobitel' connection(Service provider).
    Thank you.

No, you must have a BIS data plan in order to get any type of BB internet service.

    You bet.

Be sure to check with your provider about BIS data plan as many countries offer it as a separate package from their standard plans.

There's a saying that a BB device can register only with one service provider and once it's registered with a network that device can't be registered with another network again. Is that true?

If it's unlocked it can work with any service provider.
When I've changed my Device,I had to contact my service provider to tell them that I've changed the device to let them change some info to be able to receive e-mails again.

Right, I believe that they will have to register your PIN and then you will have to register Host Routing Table.
