Thread: What OS are you using?

Question What OS are you using?

What OS are you using on your 9780?

I have tried all of them and I believe that 546 and 526 are the best 2 that were released by RIM.

I think that 9780 OS has finally matured and these 2 OSes make the phone extremely usable with decent battery life and almost no bugs (almost)

I am using 546 at the moment.

I'm using the last leaked OS .570. Haven't had any issues at all with it. Been using it since the daay it came out. Not sure why it hasn't gone official yet.

If I had the 9780 I'd most likely be using the .600 (Java Swap)

It has gone official on many carriers

I used it, but immediately noticed that my trackpad became less responsive. 576 and the 600 java swap don't have this glitch.

You wouldn't notice it unless you have used another OS extensively, then only you'd noticed the difference immediately.

You can install the version which was released by Mobilicity.Just delete the vendor file and you can use it whatever you're on which carrier.

Downloaded and installed the .exe file, deleted the vendor file and plugged into desktop manager, it wouldn't load, so restarted comp and still wouldn't load 2 device.

I suggest trying to load it using app. loader.Follow our guide All In One Guide - How To Upgrade Your Device - with Pictures & Videos
If the loader didn't detect the OS,re-install the OS.

Kool, will give that a try. I am using the Beta Desktop Software, so it may be a problem with that.

If the OS you're trying to load up is not one provided by your carrier, do not use Desktop manager. Make sure it's closed, then use the app loader to start the install. Works every time for me.
