Thread: Unlock instructions

Hi,

I have the unlock code for this phone from the free offer. I am somewhat confused on how to go about the unlock. I believe I have followed the directions properly so perhaps someone can correct me.

Turn off all connections
Goto Options-Device-Advanced system setting-Sim Card
Type in MEPD
then type MEP2
I did this and I got the "enter code", I entered the code for the network (MEP2) provided and hit enter and it said code accepted. However it did not ask me for the Service Provider code and I did not enter the MEP4 code.

Can some one let me know if I did this right? Do I need to enter the MEP4 somewhere?

As long as it said code accepted your phone is unlocked and you are good to go!! Congrats on getting yourself an unlock code!
