Thus, the following delivery times have been announced:

* BlackBerry 9020: KW 45/46 (The second or third week of November)
* BlackBerry Bold 9700 : KW 44/45 (The first or second week of November)

Thanks for the great information, now if only you could give me the skinny on all future release dates in the US, or at least for the next few years.

Speaking only of the 9700, I have heard from a pretty good source that a release date around black friday is a definite possibility.

I want the 9700, so sexy.

KW44 and KW45 means Kalenderwoche 44 and 45, which in turn means between the 44th and 45th weeks of the calendar year. Let's do some simple math. 52 weeks in a year, so we've got an approximate release date for T-Mobile Germany in early November!

That date is consistent with rumored release dates for AT&T and T-Mobile USA, and I have it on pretty good authority (the rumor mill ), that you folks up in Canada are likely going to beat us again with a late October release on Rogers. And why not! It's a Canadian company.

As far as I'm concerned, it won't be as bad as the Bold 9000 last year, which had release dates on 8/20/08 on Rogers, and two and a half months later, on 11/4/08 on AT&T, respectively.

I love my Bold 9000, so waiting for the 9700 won't be as bad. Remember, anticipation is half the fun.
