    And when launched on U.S. t-mobile (the first carrier to get the 9700????), it is supposed to have UMA as well.

    But can anyone confirm GPS too?

    I don't know about UMA and no specs thus far have included GPS but I can't imagine it being released without it.

    If the 9700 is the Onyx, and the Driftwood is the same as the Onyx except that it is built for T-Mobile's AWS 3G spectrum, then it should (hopefully) have UMA support as the driftwood specs (aka rumors) have always included UMA.

    That would be correct except rumors sometimes turn out to be just that, rumors. I typically don't believe the specs until the phone is in my hand
