How does the trackpad actually feel. It is a big step up from the trackball or not really?

This is a personal answer. Personally, I love the trackball more. There are currently 5 models with trackpad's being worked on, with more later on.

It's probably a little strange too since we have been using the trackball for god knows how long. It'll be curious to see how the market responds to this new feature.

IMO I like it. But I think I would rather use the trackball over the trackpad. But still very nice.
