Thread: How to transfer contacts from Memory card to bold 9700

Hi, i am new to blackberry and i have transferred contacts from my old mobile nokia E63 to memory card but i tried lot but i cant able to transfer it to BB 9700. Please help me

Welcome to musheers

You need to first use the Nokia application in which you can sync or export your Nokia contacts to the PC.


Then you can easily import or sync the data from the PC to the BlackBerry.

I would suggest you look in the Nokia website to download their software if you haven't already.

Once you get your data to the PC, BlackBerry Desktop Manager will help you get your data to the BlackBerry device.

Option 1: Download the Nokia PC Suite application, then sync it to outlook. After your contacts are synced to outlook you can use the BlackBerry Desktop Software to sync it back you BlackBerry.

Option 2: The other option is to use Google sync. You can find the instructions for this here:

Option 3: Use Bluetooth to transfer your contacts.

Use Switch to transfer data with Bluetooth
1. Turn both of the devices on and set the Bluetooth connection to active.
2. Select Menu > Tools > Switch, and follow the instructions on the screen.
3. On your Nokia E63, select the content you want to transfer from the other device.
