does anyone has the Bluetooth driver for Win 7 to connect the 9700 with it?
thx
Here are a couple solutions I found online....
Many (including me) were stumped by the appearance of two bluetooth devices missing drivers in Windows 7 64-bit build 7100 following the installation of Blackberry Desktop Manager Software version 4.6 or higher.
These exclamation ! marked bluetooth peripheral devices are merely two more ports that Windows 7 can't find the drivers for (there should be FOUR total after you follow my suggestions).
Lucky for YOU, these port drivers are already present on your system (assuming you installed RIM Blackberry Desktop Manager software 4.6 or higher).
The 'trick' is to manually load the extra two PORTS by choosing from a list of drivers.
Find the 2 problem drivers-missing entries in your Bluetooth devices list, right click on the first one, choose UPDATE DRIVER SOFTWARE. Then choose Browse My Computer, then Let Me Pick From a List of Device Drivers. Scroll down till you see PORTS, then choose Rim Virtual Serial Port v2 and click Apply.
You'll get a warning message from windows 7, ignore this choose OK or apply and load the driver. It will report the device is set up correctly.
REPEAT this process 1 more time for the 2nd problem child bluetooth device that is missing the driver.
Then pair up your Blackberry with your laptop. Don't forget to REMOVE your laptop or PC from the blackberry list of paired bluetooth devices and then pair it all over again now that you've fixed the drivers on the pc/laptop side of things in Windows 7 by adding those two ports that were missing (assuming you're upgrading to Windows 7 and having problems where you can't sync with Outlook and your Blackberry using BLUETOOTH.
Once you've paired your Blackberry successfully, you'll need to configure Bluetooth in your connections options in Blackberry Desktop Manager 4.6 or higher.
You can then forget about plugging in the USB micro-cable and happily SYNC it with your bluetooth.
Worked like a charm for me 7/8/2009.
*** Important: Windows 7 now includes the ability to fully back up your entire machine to an external device like a Western Digital MyBook. In addition you can create a recovery boot cd with Windows 7. In the event of total meltdown, those who do backups before tweaking their system can revert to the known good system image and are joyful!

CREDIT for this solution is given to AT&T Laptop Support - Level 2 (United States). I never would have found this and prowled the web like crazy to no avail. AT&T Laptop Support is normally $2 a minute but I was able to be transferred to them from the level 1 support "Internally". Nice going AT&T.

How to fix Bluetooth peripheral missing driver for BlackBerry in Windows 7
Blackberry 8520 can connect to your computer via bluetooth but when you actually connect it shows 2 driver missing in Windows 7. Due to this driver issue I wasnt able to connect my Blackberry Mobile to BlackBerry Desktop manager installed in my computer. Though it’s not much of issue but if you would like to do your synchronization via Bluetooth you will need these 2 drivers to be working.
These 2 missing drivers are actually for ports and I was lucky to find it in just 4 hours ( grrrrr ) when I tried looking for each and every menu and the problem was simple. Just follow the steps :
- Open Device Manager or If yourphone is connected via USB just select properties of that phone.
- Under the Hardware you would see 2 of them marked not working properly.
- Select one of them and choose to update the drivers.
- Next you need to select to update driver from your computer.
- Next select drives already available in your computer.
- Select Hardware : PORTS
BlackBerry Bluetooth Driver
- Look for RIM Virtual Serial Ports and then select RIM Virtual Serial Port v2.
- Add it and ignore the warning when doing so.
- Repeat the same for the next not working driver.
- Now if you had done paring before delete it form your Mobile along and then do it again.
- You will be able to connect your Desktop manager to Blackberry ans sync without connecting the USB cable.

Could we have a little more information so that we can help you better?
Are you getting any error messages?
What version of Windows 7 are you running 32 bit or 64 bit?
You could also take a look at this KB article from RIM to make sure your setting it up correctly.

Hi Joe
in the end it came out that the problem is not related to the BB at all. (the Bluetooth it seems to work - I have the last driver - but is not working in fact)
is my Lenovo X201 fault. Is quite a problem and I decided to leave it for now. I have tried the support and they do not know what I am talking about. They want my to format my Laptop and reload with it's factory default OS....coudn't agree to this for now.
anyway if and when I will find a solution I will update you how I fix it .
Thanks for reporting back. I hate when support says to do a factory reset. In other words they are admitting they don't know how to fix the problem and hoping a factory reset will fix it. Problem is, most people have tons of programs and files that would take way too long to have to reinstall again.
