Static screen when upgrading to OS 6.0

I recently tried to upgrade my Bold 9700 to 6.0, however, when complete the screen was all static, like a TV would look when on a channel you don't get.
I downgraded back to 5.0 and it works fine.

Any suggestions?

I suggest following our guide for how to update your device All In One Guide - How To Upgrade Your Device - with Pictures & Videos & you can find the latest official OS 6 for Bold 9700 here

That's exactly what I've done. No problems when trying to install OS 5, so don't think it's me screwing up the procedure. It's pretty easy, so shouldn't be that. I tried using the official OS, still no luck.

Let's leave this issue to be seen by other moderators and I'll look up to see by what this issue is caused !

ive got this problem with 2 phones. 9700 and 9780. i cannot get the 9780 to work at all. but the 9700 only works on os 5. ive been trying to fix it for weeks...
