    Uninstall all 3rd party apps, then reinstall one by one, and observe which one creates the error.

    i'm pretty sure it's something with the email (client) - or with the group chat. Got another error message saying application net_rim_bb_qm_peer(1721) today and the phone freezed

    If you are getting a OS error I suggest another OS.

    Hi there am using BB 8520, it freezes every now and then but rebooting picks up. The main problem I is saving contat numbers. It just freezes and later give me this message: Uncaught exception:Application net_rim_bb_phone_app(71)

    Hello SipheleleG and welcome to

    As I have mentioned before on my reply to one of the members having the same issue, what you can try is to perform a Battery pop reboot. While your device is turned ON, do a battery pull and put it back after like 5 mins or so.. See if this works.

    If that didn't work after doing it, try to press and hold down the alt key while typing lglg. This will bring you into your event log. Scroll down and see if any are highlighted or have an error message attached and if you find one open it. Sometimes you will be able to tell if its an app or a theme, and if it is, you can delete it and see if that solves the problem.

    After trying the above solution and still issue persists, then I highly suggest you reload an updated OS..
    By the way, can you tell us your current OS?
