Error Id:9300 !!??
since updating my App world i can no longer buy apps. it gives me an error (Error ID:9300). I could always buy apps before so i dont know what the issue is. I've checked my Paypal account and its all good.
Ive googles my *** off, Tweeted RIM and mailed them but alas... no reply.
Can anyone help me??
You can try recreating your App World account; BlackBerry ID and Password.
i did try that. i even tried a different credit card. same crap! :(
How about deleting AppWorld, doing a battery pull with the device on, and then re-installing AppWorld?

Have you updated your OS recently? I ask because I see that your are using OS6.If you have recently updated to OS6, which one are you using? I have read that some have been having issues with latest OS6 upgrade and apps not responding. Let us know and we can go from there.
I found some more info in a Blackberry KB article while searching, you might have already seen this info since you posted that same question on CB, we'll try to get you up and running here.
Error 9300 is caused by the payment method(s) your using not being supported in your region by App World.
Refer to Blackberry article KB25369
The workaround consists of trying another card, or switching to PayPal, but as you've already done both of these, You should look at KB25368, which lists all supported App World countries, and their supported payment processing methods, You can find that here, KB25368-Supported payment types for BlackBerry App World, because you've not added your location to your profile correctly?
Since you have probably tried the above, what were the results?

I have read that article... and it doesn’t really make sense to me because i have previously made purchases on my app world with my Paypal account. (8 to be exact). Only since i upgraded has it been an issue. I am running ver .600
In all my Google-ing, i have seen a large number of people complaining about this issue but no1 seems to have found a solution. And RIM isn’t great at responding.
Things i have tried:
1-deleting and re-installing app world
2- creating a new Blackberry ID
3- Trying to use the 'credit card payment' - gave me Error ID:11000
4- Tried Mastercard and Visa
5- Checked currency on Paypal is in USD.
6- Deleted 'pre-approved payment plan' in Paypal and re-connected it.
Hope someone has an answer... This is so frustrating. :(
Try downgrading to a lower OS. Try one from AVEATurkey_9700_18.104.22.1686 - Downloads - BlackBerryOS.com and review http://www.blackberryos.com/blackber...es-videos.html. I'd delete AppWorld first before loading the .576OS. Then after the OS install, download the AppWorld and see what happens. I say this because I have been reading that the .600 series OS have had issues with different apps.
At this point, that's what I would try. What do you think?
Good suggestion, however, I really don't want to downgrade tbh. I like this build.. and further more why should I? RIM needs to sort their sh*t out!! Whats the point of releasing updates then?
