Thread: Profile Sound quality problem

I have just upgraded my Bold 9700 to the leaked OS6 version. what I have noticed is that if I play music through the normal media player on the phone it sounds fine, but when I select a song as my ringtone and then play it, it sounds really crap. Any advice or should I downgrade my software again. Thanx

Have you checked your volume settings for the ringtone in that profile?

1.Tap the Sounds icon.
2.Tap Change Sounds and Alerts.
3.Tap Phone Ring Tone.
4.Tap the Volume field.
5.Select volume level
6.To save and exit, press the ESCAPE key, then tap Save.
