I am very new user of BB Bold 9700 and this forum, I have some queries regarding my Bold 9700, please advise :-


1. 1. I have updated OS 5.0 to 6.0.0424 , after updated my phone are not supporting theme , I am not able to change or install new theme.


2. 2. Now OS 6.0.0.448 is available for download, Please advise , Is it better than 6.0.0.424 ?


3. 3. How to use BB maps through home wi-fi router ?


4. 4. I don’t know from where , I have install trail version of ABC Amber Blackberry convertor 9.02 for read/view backup file , Now I need crack version of Full ABC Amber Blackberry covertor , Can I download from some where ??


5. 5.Can we send sms or dial call from BBDM 6 or is there any other software for send sms or dial a call from my laptop ??.............. Waiting for your fastest replies.............................

Hello Wokwok,

1. This is because OS 5 themes are not compatible with OS 6 themes. You will need to see if the themes you have for OS 5 support OS 6 and then redownload to your phone.

2. From many reports, yes, .448 is better than .424, but keep in mind there are still a few bugs.

3. BB maps requires a GPS signal for navigating.

4. Can't advise you on this.

5. Gmail allows SMS and calls, but call service may only be free within the US and Canada. Not sure on that.

Is is true that GPS wants Carrier Data plan ?? Or It works also with out data Plan ??
