Thread: what os6 is better 6.0.0.380 or 6.0.0.358????

i have a bold 9700 and i just updated to the 6.0.0.380 because i thought it was better and more but my flash dont work on my camera so i did research and it said to use the 6.0.0.358 to get the flash working and i see that people used that update more then the new one so what should i do??

I would go back to 6.0.0.358 if the flash on your camera is important for you, then wait for the next release. Or, you can check out our downloads center to see what leaked or official OS we have for the 9700 and what is being said about them in the comments.

As with all of these releases there are going to be a few things which don't work correctly. For some of these, the issues are pretty well know.

For instance, Release 6.0.344 has problems sending SMS message when your phone is configured for WiFi.
All of the current releases have a memory leak issue, which requires you to either scrub your memory every once in a while, or restart the phone. 6.0.380 has the Flash issue with the camera. A lot of times there are workarounds for these problems, but be sure that you are willing to spend some time tweaking your berry before you start using these leaked OSes for your blackberry. None of them are perfect.

It looks like 6.0.418 is out now. It appears to be the best, and most stable so far, with the least amount of glitches / flaws. I'll be installing it tomorrow.

Already installed the 6.0.0.358 The maps is very slow to load..Other than that it's ok good..
