BlackBerry Bold 9700 OS 18.104.22.1688 Leaked
Well, here it is folks, 22.214.171.1248. I will be giving this a spin (am downloading it as I type this), and will be giving my take on it in a few days. Now some may be wondering if this leak will be as buggy as the leak from a few weeks ago, just remember, RIM probably reads the blogs out here. I would if I were RIM, so expect a few fixes.
Download OS 126.96.36.1998 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700:
Warning: Please remember that this IS NOT an official release OS. If you wish to install this OS keep in mind that this may cause your phone to not function correctly. I'm on it...........
gonna install the regular way, no wipe. Should work as this is a 6 and my phone has 6 on it........oceanghost
Downloaded, will report back in a few days.
EDIT: adperdue's zipfile is saying "corrupt file". Downloading Vecharos now.
Q: Where do these "leaked" copies come from? You guys going through RIMs ftp servers or? lol just wondering how these things get into the "wild". I don't have a problem with companies releasing alphas/betas for testing. Just wondering thats all.
EDIT2: Is there a change log? I'm guessing I'm asking for to much here....

Did a clean install. Everything is running well. Seems no problems with some basic testing, emails, sms, web.
Will be back in a while.

I'm not sure how BBOS handles private sharing, but I'm uploading to my website atm (never use it or the bandwidth it comes with). Will post here in a bit.
