Well, here it is folks, 22.214.171.1248. I will be giving this a spin (am downloading it as I type this), and will be giving my take on it in a few days. Now some may be wondering if this leak will be as buggy as the leak from a few weeks ago, just remember, RIM probably reads the blogs out here. I would if I were RIM, so expect a few fixes.
Download OS 126.96.36.1998 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700:
Warning: Please remember that this IS NOT an official release OS. If you wish to install this OS keep in mind that this may cause your phone to not function correctly. BlackberryOS and any other BlackberryOS Official sites are not responsible. If you are not comfortable and/or unsure as how to upgrade to this OS, please click the link below.
EDIT: adperdue's zipfile is saying "corrupt file". Downloading Vecharos now.
Q: Where do these "leaked" copies come from? You guys going through RIMs ftp servers or? lol just wondering how these things get into the "wild". I don't have a problem with companies releasing alphas/betas for testing. Just wondering thats all.
EDIT2: Is there a change log? I'm guessing I'm asking for to much here....

Reason: Adding Qs
gonna install the regular way, no wipe. Should work as this is a 6 and my phone has 6 on it........oceanghost
Same thing as .344. TMo does not want to load correct. After that the OS is running fine, still no flash player for MSN videos. I was hoping they fixed that as my OS5 had a flash player of some sorts for this..........oceanghost

I hope they fix the battery drain of the .344.
With the newest 5.0 it took 5 to 6 days to run on empty, now within 2 days its empty.
Just hope they release the official OS6 soon. Rather have a good original then a high leaked one with some issues...
So far youtube its not working at all neither the app or straight from the webpage!!!
I'm not getting any of the above problems. Youtube works (from the browser, or app seeing it just loads the browser), I was able to restore all my data/apps. I don't have a memory leak (well not after 24hrs anyways).
I'm guessing everyones done a clean install rather then an upgrade? I'm not sure with phone OSs if its affected the same as Windows etc, but a clean install is always recommended over an upgrade.
Trying to install this one and I'm getting an error message when I try to update the device. I get to the screen where you backup and add your email if you want updates etc... I click install and a message that says there was an error updating your device. One or modules could not be resolved. I have done a full wipe of the device and I get the same error. I'm upgradeing from 184.108.40.2064. Anyone else seeing this?
Did a wipe and install from .344. working smoothly, however battery life seems to be not good. Battery down from 95% to 85% in a couple of minutes with minimal use, I did do three reboots- don't know if that had anything to do with it. Memory is better ended up 93.+ MB from 79MB with same apps. Browser is slow, love the tabbed browsing but slow.
Email and BBM and SMS good so far.
Another issue - cannot sort address book by first name.
*EDIT* Browser is pretty quick on Wi-Fi, will continue to monitor battery usage, seems pretty week right now, down to 75% in 20 mins
