so os6 is on my phone... but i cant do anything but see white screen and bunch of mumbo jumbo characters...

deleted the said file.. but nothing yet....

Lolllll probably u r right. I have tried every leaked software , bricked it and recovered again thanks to BBOS but its time consuming.

It can be found here on your PC, and deleted manually...

C:/ Program Files / Common Files / Research In Motion / Shared / Loader Files / 9700M_v6.0.0.344_P6.6.050 / Java

Once deleted, just hook up to DM again, and the theme will automatically be removed from your device

I then went to the app loader instead of device manager and reloaded. Anybody wanting to try this on T-Mobile, save yourself the hassle and remove this file first, then install the OS. Also delete vendor file and I would not use device manager, instead use the app loader in the x86 common files research in motion...oceanghost

0ok.. so i deleted the file.... deleted vendor, and now in application loader doesnt find os....... oo0 jezz peps what am i doing wrong

btw... i wiped device clean using bbsac hell even bbsac cant find os

yay installed...


finally got it to work..

LIKES===
mine is working fine...i only deleted "vendor file" and installed through "app loader. it was a little slow before but its picking up speed now....

DISLIKES====
a lot of fuzz was made about OS 6.....now that i have installed it and gone through the features to the best of my knowledge....it isnt much different from by 5.0.0.979, except for the re-alignment of some icons and the additions of you 3 icons
1....social feeds
2....nexus
3....you tube (video doesnt still play)

Am up and running now, no problems yet so far...i agree its a big change from 5.0 but the changes are not that hard to learn...am loving it!

back to .979, gave it a shot . Looked promising for awhile, except for video player and internet videos.

My videos would play with no sound. WMV and 3GP played with sound, no mp4 videos with sound.

Internet browser, web to go would not work, regular browser was great, except would not play videos on MSN and youtube videos were very poor.

I liked the rest of the OS, maybe a updated OS6 in the future will work for mine..........oceanghost

the os is running good so far....

I'm on Orange UK network, No problems with this os

Just like to say, installed and like it a lot . So far no problems at all. Seems to be running faster/smoother then any OS5.x build that I have tried or had.

Battery might just bit a tad better too?
