Can not use internet or bb messenger/ no IP

Can someonw please help. I bought a 9700 bold in Saudi Arabia. The phone is totally unlocked yet I cannot get messenger to work or add email's or any im service to work. From my limited skills i notice there is no ip addy on the phone.

It might be pointless now that the middle east is banning bb's but would really like to get the phone working. When in Canada I have a Roger's data plan and in the middle east i use STC.

Welcome to BBOS !! I could be wrong but it sounds like the service books need to be sent to your phone. Your carrier should be able to send them to your phone.
