    Leaked OS 5.0.0.536 for the Bold 9700 Finding and Fixes



    Wow, has this been one long awaited leak. This is a fresh leak, only minutes ago - and I have already read some very good things about it so far. I do suggest giving it a go! Be aware that this is a leak and not an official. And as always, please post your findings and fixes in the appropriate thread below.     I updated from a hybrid 442 to this Leak. So i did not wipe my phone beforehand. just didn't feel like doing so
    okay okay i confess, i just tested another the hybrid yesterday and wiped my phone and reinstalled all my apps
    didn't feel like doing it again:P

    -FirstBoot (stuck a 75% (for 2 minutes 3sec. Im getting used to this now. happens alot with the 9700 first boot after OS update atleast at my blackberry) stuck at 95% (for 30sec)

    Blackberry Appworld: Gets stuck on loading (this could be caused by a defective antenna on my bb9700)
    Gmail: Gets stucks on loading inbox / maps (this could be caused by a defective antenna on my bb9700)
    Google sync Gets on syncing: (this could be caused by a defective antenna on my bb9700)

    Browser was able to test it: responded fast

    Overall OS speed, Fast but nothing special, compared to 442 is kinda the same.



    Conclusion all the above apps work: only some that use the internet services
    get stuck on connecting but i think that is my blackberry.

    so guess this will be released as a stable soon

    i still miss slackers!! en PONYT but its not supported in europe

    Installation instructions.

    Step 1: Download desired OS to your PC.
    Step 2: Install and complete the setup process to have the OS installed.
    Step 3: Remember to delete vendor.xml file if your carrier the OS is not from your carrier.
    Step 4: Do a comprehensive backup in case anything goes wrong.
    Step 5: Connect Bold to PC and click on the Loader and let the process initiate. Loader can be found in the same folder as the vendor.xml file.
    Step 6: Do not unplug the Bold during the process. Process may take around 30-60 minutes to complete.
