Thread: Is complete "Handheld Wipe" not available yet on the 9700?

I have a 9700 that is tagged with Security but would like to remove the ATT OS and install the Cincy Bell version. Any help on this need or so called complete "Handheld Wipe" not available yet on the 9700?

What do you mean by it's tagged with security?

Maybe he means a security sticker over the sim card? Shouldn't prevent swapping OS. Only other way I could think he'd be locked out is if he's on BES with a company device, then he'd have to go through IT

Duh, just realized what was said in the OP. It appears you would have to have the device "unlocked" in order to do that. go to our sponsor, gsmphoneunlocking.com and see if they can do that for ya.

If you mean a policy added to it which can prevent numerous functions, if you are on the BES network there is no way to remove it. It comes back everytime you get any contact with the BES server.

Have you tried an external program like the MCP? You can find it at www.mcpfx.com
