random character on contact list not showing

Hi guys, I have a friend who owns a 9700. She said that random characters are not showing up in her contact list, like "@" or "#". It shows up when she opens the message box or bbm box though. She has the official OS, she didn't change the OS when she bought it.

    Any thoughts? ^^

    i've attached a file =)

Instead of @ it shows a square.. I'm thinking it's because of theme?

she's asking if she needs to reinstall the language module? >< Im very clueless.

Tell her, she should try and re-activate the standard theme - just to check it out!

This is a font problem with the Theme that she is using.

Perhaps submit a bug report to the theme creator and have them fix that.

^ thanks! Actually it's one of my themes but I wasn't aware of that. I converted it for 9700 and did a little edit on the theme since I only make themes for the 9000 that's why I wasn't able to try it out. I also haven't experienced those square thingy on my 9000 using my themes. Anyway, thanks! Now I know what font not to use
