    Question hey guy help with bbm and the bold 9700

    hey guys this is the first time i see this: blackberry messenger failed to register with the blackberry messenger service and alot more? any idea?

    it says open the my profile screen and check the blackberry mesenger registration status.
    i just switched devices from my ld 8900 to my new 9700 at&t
    any idea what to do?

    i try to register again but i still get the same message:
    blackberry messenger failed to register with the blackberry messenger service.
    registration is necessary to use the features of this aplication. please ensure your device time is correctly set, open the my profile screen an check the blackberry messenger registration status...

    i work with bb's also and this is the first time i see that msg, i retry to register again and keep doing it, should i just delete it and install it again and then restore a back up?

    Have you tried a complete delete and reinstall?

    Hey,

    you should resend service books to your blackberry.
    Go into Host Registration and select one to "Register Now"

    If that fails, then I'd consider doing the reinstall app / wipe os.

    It would be interesting to see if you do have the service books to allow BBM.

    I was several time to fix this problem, i don`t know it is the same case or not. i try to fix by email configuration because that most happen to that problem is email. make sure your email account is OK

    You should fix your Email to configure.

    - validate your email setting, delete and re-put again your email if necessary. or you send servicebook. make sure your email account is OK.
    - after your validate your email success. open your BBM and register again.

    the point is your email should be ok in validation, and the network from your provider should be OK.

    I know RIM was having some issues yesterday with registering devices, maybe it's still an ongoing issue.
