i was useing curve 8900 and now i bought 9700 bold, i have downloaded new official version 5.0.0.442 install it in my pc but my DM is not detecting the new version update i have tried from app loader by deleting vendor file but nothing is happened can i know is there any other way to install new version.
Try doing a search on your PC for the vendor file. Sometimes there is more than one. Here is a guide that explains how if you need help.

If you go into Control Panel > Programs and Features or Add/Remove Programs, does the OS show up as installed? Should say "Blackberry Device Software v5.0.0 for the BlackBerry 9700 smartphone"
i tried that also ...yes it is showing both DM and new version installed in program and features. and i m using win 7 anything related to that??
could be - are you running DM or App Loader as admin?
