    Try this:

Copying a contact from the phone to the SIM card

To copy a contact from the phone to the SIM card, perform the following steps:
    1. At the Home screen, scroll to and select Contacts.
    2. Scroll to and select the desired contact.
    3. Scroll to the phone number that you want to copy to the SIM card.
    4. Press the Menu key.
    5. Scroll to and select Copy to SIM Phonebook.
    6. Press the Touchpad.
    7. Select Save.

Let me know if it works.

Yeah, there isn't a way to copy more than one contact at a time to a SIM card. If you are just needing to back them up because you are getting a new blackberry, I would suggest using DM to create a back up. That way is better because no information will get lost. If you save the contact to a SIM card, not all information you have entered for the contact may not get transferred.

    w00t! High five everyone!!

Yea I remember back when I had T-Mobile (years ago) that was a problem I had with a non-blackberry device. DM would be the best way to back-up IMO plus you have apps for this now too. Much more info can be saved than just the # and name.
