Thread: Possible to view WMV files on 9700?

Anything I can download so I can view a video I downloaded in WMV? Keep getting unsupported format message, I hear sound but no video.

You could use a converter on your PC to change it to 3gp format.

I think MP4... I know it will play wmv sound files but not video.. Trying to remember but my memory is failing me right now.. MP4 or 3gp are probably the easiest to find free converters for.

anyone else wishing for a VLCish app for blackberry? if there is one that i dont know about please please tell me.

I could be wrong, but I think I remember converting songs from itunes using the Blackberry Media Sync so that they would play on my BB. I wouldn't be surprised if it works with other formats.

No your right printz.. here are a few more I remembered.. AAC, AAC+, MP4, MP3, i thought wmv but apparently not?
