Hey Nate. Great theme as usual. Any chance on seeing it in yellow?

Hi Nate,

First of all, I want to THANK YOU for creating such an AWESOME theme! I was searching for a few days for a theme for my new 9700 before finding yours and its just awesome! Well done, well done!

The only thing I see as an issue for me is the message notification symbol you are currently using, its really difficult to see because its the same color as everything else, it has no contrast.

Those stock red "*" symbols really do the trick when a new message pops up and draws your eye right too it.

As a suggestion, maybe the blackberry symbol you currently use can be made red in color or just use the stock red "*" so when you do get a new message for someone like me who has 5 email accounts your eye goes right to it. It makes it a lot easier to see which account just got the new message.

WISH LIST NOTE: maybe this is already possible, and I just haven't figured it out yet but can you change some of the current icons to a different ones? If not, this would also be an amazing option to have.

UPDATE: 5-25-10

After using this theme for a few weeks, another thing I have noticed as a problem is the two tone message bar highlighter for mail and sms (grey top, black bottom). I use the black theme v5.1. I constantly get confused as to which message i'm actually on because the the black highlights the message subject (bottom part of message) which stands out more in contrast to the top part which is grey. If you could make this just ONE color it would be less confusing.

Several Apps (icons) that are installed aren't showing up after I changed to this theme. Its strange because when I go to re-install an App, it asks me if I want to overwrite it, so its still installed just not showing up anywhere. But when I look for the Icon or Search for the App, nothing. I am not hiding Icons either. They just aren't showing up. Specificially my IM Apps in the IM folder aren't showing up. Only the BB IM is listed.

The BB browser when launched from the either Home screen or expanded screen causes an error "Uncaught exception: java.lang.illegalArgumentException" Although when I launch the browser from EDL's google browser launcher, it works just fine. A battery pull is needed in order to clear it.

Hi Nate, I'm new to Blackberry and am playing with/discovering my Bold 9700. Your theme really sounds like the only one I need, so I downloaded Purple BBPROv5.1 OTA and it installed fine and the phone rebooted, but it doesn't show up in options>themes even after removing and replacing the battery (I did google for a while and found this tip). Only the original theme that came with the phone is shown (RIM's Precision Zen, which is currently active).
All the permissions on your theme are set to 'allow'.

I guess with the 9700 I don't need a theme reader?

Any ideas, because I hate to ask for help but I'm stumped now?

Are you going to that link on your phone? You cant install it from a computer.

Hi. Yep I did OTA install from the Bold. It said it went fine, and said it would reboot the phone which it did. Not there in themes though, only showing in third party apps, so I did the battery trick but still no joy.

I like it for the best! Cant wait for V6

Is it possible to refresh de content of the unseen mail while this icon is active?
It would be nice if this feature is also working for sms en phonecall log.

Hi i am new to using Blackberry, i owna BB curve 8520, i am unable to install this theme, the phone says : invalid COD ( this is when i am trying to install it by mailing this them to the phone) and the Dekstop Manager says: This application is not compatible with your device and cannot be loaded. Can someone please help me

After looking around....Natemz did not make a version of this theme for your device.
You will need to look in this section to find a theme that will work with your BlackBerry 8520.

I have been having wicked lag problems since I have installed the newest version of this theme. Any thoughts? I take the theme off and the lag problems go away. This is my second 9700 that has had the same issue. I never really thought it was the theme on the first phone, but I just added it to the second phone and the lagging came back...

What an awesome theme but can you make it where the six icons don't bounce when focused on?

I'm have the same issue with the Broswer, i get the "Uncaught exception: java.lang.illegalArgumentException" Error.

Why am I unable to go out and find a better theme? I even went out of the way to buy another theme (only cuz I need change once in a while) but that one was just not good enough. I keep coming back to your themes, great job again Nate, can't wait to see what you have in store for us next!

hey just want to report one bug, not sure if anyone posted the solution to it, but it happened to me to, where you get the "Uncaught exception: java.lang.illegalArgumentException" Error while trying to get into the browser, it wont let you go on it... what i figured out was that the reason y people get that error from trying to get into there browser is because they changed their FONT settings on there bb. should leave the font at size 10, and and leave it regular, dont change the setting as in BOLD, ITALIC,.. etc.. then do a battery pull

Thank you so much for making this theme. The 5.1 is I think the most perfect theme ever. I have been addicted to it since 3 months ago when I got the 5.1, including all the shortcuts, and it has been amazingly perfect for my 9700.

Fabulous theme, It loaded perfectly, and was functioning fine... Unfortunately there seems to be a glitch on the browser function... Error message: Uncaught exception java.lang IllegalargumentException.

I pulled the battery twice but unfortunately it did not solve the problem.

Help I Have 9700 Bold And When I Download This Great Theme The Phone Says :

invalid COD 907 cod files not found <------- -___-"

I Really Need Your Help Guys........
