I'm using 6.0.706 on my 9650 (waiting on BB10), and it runs as smooth as the first day I bought it almost 2yrs ago. According to my Sprint connection there will be one (1) more OS update for the BOLD 9650 in Jun/Jul
Yes, I must admit, the. 706 almost bought the battery life back to OS5 like :)
Please how can get Verizon wireless number that is being requested to download the OS

I tried the link you provided above, i downloaded 707-TATA-INDICOM OS file into my system. but when am trying to install it, it displays '1152:Error extracting C:/Users.....9650.msi to temporary location. Please i need help urgently cos have wiped the blackberry device. Thank you...
Am from Nigeria.
I have rebooted the system several times. It is still displaying the error.... What is bothering me is that, I have already wiped my blackberry device
Search for the "Vendor.xml" files on your computer and delete them, when you update to a Blackberry OS from another carrier you should delete the vendor.xml files first.
Get a stable version, follow a guide to install new OS and get it done.
