Leaked OS 6.0.0.222 for Bold 9650!

Today is the day we've all been waiting for, OS6 has finally leaked for the Bold 9650! Thanks to the fine folks at BBLeaks, you can now load it on your BlackBerry and give OS6 a spin. There have been some rumors of OS6 being internally tested by Verizon so it makes sense that OS6 has leaked. We've provided some links, courtesy of BBLeaks, for you to download the files. As always, let us know what you find and what you like or dislike about the OS. Also, let us know if you prefer OS6 or the official builds of OS5. Grab it while its hot!

Yeah!! I was wondering how different it would be from my Torch's OS 6. It's great! Love the web kit! Faaaast!!

Only thing...always hate re-organizing my icons..

Came out of the OS 6 load with 266MB available. Not too shabby..

I saw the same. I think its because RIM hasn't released Theme Studio for OS 6, which is why I think the theming is messed up? I rebooted and maybe that'll help? waiting on it now.

I'm freakin lovin this OS so far. My Bold has never run this fast and smooth. All my apps seem to work too. I can't wait for some themes to start rolling out.

Is anyone able to download apps using browser? I wasn't able to get that to work and saw others having similar issues on other forums. Anyone over here? If it's working--what carrier are you and how did you get it to work? Thanks!

I am very happy with 6.0 I've been running it for a little over 12 hours. Took a little getting used to, little trouble finding all the settings.

What I was not happy with was BBOSalert! Yet again there was no notification, I had to read about the leak on Facebook and Twitter. I've finally given up and deleted it off my device about 11pm last night. Oh, and yes I paid for it, it was not one of the giveaways. :irked:

I'm on VZW and 'kinda' had an issue. When I would download an app I would get a "Download Failed" message if I saved app permissions via the menu. Instead of pressing menu and then save, just push the back key and the downloads would go fine. Once you run the app, you should get prompted if any permissions need to be changed. Let me know if that helps you out.

Thanks Kermit, I decided to roll back to the hybrid I was running for now and maybe reinstall 6.0 later or tomorrow after some of the issues are figured out. I was getting a bit frustrated with the browser. Thanks for the reply though!

Thats a known issue. Seems like the browser doesn't recognize the .jad files.

I installed this os on my girlfriends phone and she has no internet access at all. Everything works, except for the browser which states the same as the above user "insufficient network coverage to process this request". Needless to say, she is upset, has no internet and is still w envy of the webkit on my torch. Anys suggestion from anyone would be greatly appreciated. I have resent service books and reloaded the os and wiped it a few times now.

I went into "manage connections" and turned off my WiFi and have not had any connection issues since.

I'm getting the same message when I try to go on the interweb. I tried everything and nothing seems to work either.
