Thread: Leaked OS 6.0.0.222 for Bold 9650!

ok i m trying opera mini and it works fine but whats the deal with bb browsers ?

So far, I've been running this leak for 24 hours and its freaking amazing in my opinion. It runs great on my phone. No problems, no lag. I will be content running this leak until a newer version comes out or until we get something official from VZW. OS6 on 9650 FTW!

No, it's for the 9650

I read this and saw that the leak is for Verizon - has anyone tried it with SPRINT? Do you know if I loose any functionality?

No this is only for the 9650.

Yes, it works.
Just make sure to delete the vendor.xml file in the app loader folder.

Will Sprint Nav and TV still work? Sorry for all the questions but I dont want to load it and find the 2 features I like about the phone to be gone and then be stuck enjoying the new OS.

Running this OS on the Sprint, have not seen any issues. Will test the 2 apps and drop a reply later today.

Just installed this on my Verizon Bold (9650) and the install was quick and easy from the DM. I am having problems with VVM and BB App World. Trying to do a reinstall of the applications. I love the new look and speed!

I cant download the OS.....anybody can help me??

Basically, what happened is you have what are called Legacy Service Books, which DM does not automatically back up. You should be able to restore them using the files that were linked on that thread.

If you haven't updated yet but want to avoid the issue, go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Service Books and type "alt+sbeb" (hold alt, not type the word).

What issue are you having? Have the links died?

Okay, so I reloaded VVM and when the terms and agreement screen comes up, I cant scroll down to accept. Any ideas?

Which version are you using? OS6 has one included that works for me. The one I had from OS5 did the same thing, I couldn't scroll down on terms screen. Try using the one that comes with OS6 and see if that works for you.

Yes, I saw that one. I guess I will use it.

When I get a mms now the picture comes as an attachment instead of being in the message so I have to open the pic to see it. Is this a setting that I'm missing or is it an os6 thing.
