All the newest OS 5.0 versions only with with the old, 4.7 version of BBM, and not BBM 5.0.

Most likely you will not see an option for 5.0 since it is not official yet.

Not sure I am understanding your post? I am running the 5.0 OS as well as the 5.0 BBM (official release) on mine with no problem?
