Thread: Homescreen Image Resets after Reboot and Hard Resets

I'm hoping someone knows how to fix this. I've googled and searched all over but with no joy. My homescreen image resets back to the theme default anytime there's a reboot or bp. This happens with the default AT&T themes as well as custom themes. After the image resets back to the theme default, i have to reset the homescreen image before i can set it to the image i had before the reboot or bp. I'm running the latest offical os, 4.6.0.297. Thanks in advance.

DID you upgrade the os yourself?

I would try backing up and then wiping your phone and reinstalling the os are you comfortable with this or do you need some guidance?

I'm comfortable with doing that. I'll give it a try when I have some time to be without a phone.

This happens to me also. I'm running 4.6.1.250.

Hi tfrankson, did you upgrade the os or was that what came installed?

The issue fixed itself after DM reloaded all the sample images and sample songs. I normally go about deleting it the samples using filescout so I'm not sure what about that might be causing the issue. I haven't wiped and reloaded my OS yet.
