Thread: Help! I cant see timings in my redial list.

I've downloaded BBCrackmans hybrid when it came out, and thats when i noticed that the little colored phone next to the contacts in my redial list is missing (the one that shows if its a received, dialed or missed call). also there is no date and time next to the number.

i also was using a new theme that i thought could be the reason, but now when i got sick of not knowing WHEN i missed a call or if a call is a missed call or a dialed one, i decided to change the theme.. and i did.. and.. its still missing :aargh4:

Sounds like something got corrupted during the installation process. I would recommend wiping your phone and reinstalling the OS.

man i hate this word, wipe my phone, it makes me feel sorry for it
but anyways, now the question is, wipe and get an OS or wipe and get the hybrid again?

Just wipe and install the hybrid again.

they're gone again.. am gonna go crazy.. i downloaded a few themes.. did a battery pull.. and now they're gone :@

how can i backup my themes that were downloaded OTA? i wiped my bb and i lost them.

Hello Ahmedtiko and welcome.

Have you looked in your looked in your call log settings to see that the log is set to display properly?

Follow me for a minute.

Select your call button. Then Select your Menu(Blackberry)button. Now scroll down and select Options. Next, let's select Call Logging.

If you will tell me what this is selected to in your theme. Should be indicated by a dot highlighted in a setting. Missed Calls, All Calls, or None

there is no use.. i wiped my bb 3 times already.. and everytime i restore the backup.. i loose the little phones and the timings.. :s

nothing is selected.. thats for the messages display..
let me just make sure ur getting me..
when u press the call button, ur supposed to get the names with little phones next to them and timings.. well am only getting names and phone numbers

how can i create a backup and make sure i dont include whatever is causing this to happen.. lol
because i wipe, i get the hybrid again, everything is fine.. but then once i restore my backup it goes nutts again.. and i am NOT loosing my backup.. lol

This is what I would like you to do.

Push the Call button>>Menu(Blackberry)button>>Options>>Call Logging>>Set this setting to All Calls.

well, am still missing the timings and the little phones but i have 122 unread messages now.. lol

I think i'll restore the backup this time but make sure i choose the obvious things, like the phonebook and the bbms.. i wont restore any settings.. what do u think?
