Thread: Can't download new BBM--HELP

well im having a little problem dling the new bbm, i just downloaded bbdm to 5.0 but i want the new bbm can someone hook me up or point me to the right direction?

yes i did, but i just notice when i opened the application loader on my dm it shows that i have v4.60 for my bbm

Did you select browse in dm and point it to the alx in the unzipped folder?

Here are the dm instructions


To install just extract the zip file on your computer. Remember the location. Open up Desktop Manager and click on Application Loader. Under Add/Remove Applications press Start. When the screen comes up with all the apps on your device, select Browse and navigate to the folder you extracted from the zip. Choose the BlackBerryMessenger.alx and click next. Then just wait for the phone to reboot and walla, the brand new BBM 5.

it did the same with me and all i did was keep trying and it went through finally.

If i beleave it took like 3 trys.

Have you tried the Over the Air link ealvnv provide above? You go to that link on your blackberry.

Keep in mind these are beta leaks of the software. There are much newer builds than this, but we just don't have access to them....yet.

So keep trying like Kris said. I'm sure it will pop in for you eventually.
