Sabin, I am sorry you are having such trouble. May be try the following: uninstall BBM from phone, do a battery pull, and download OTA from her Blackberry Messenger 5 OTAs Make sure you select the correct BBM for your device and OS. Once you are done, do another battery pull. Let us know if it works.![]()

I did as you told me to do. I visited the link from my browser, and clicked on the one which was appropriate for my phone model and OS.
It begins to download and then it says... download failed. When I click on details-- that message shows up about not being able to import the ZIP file.
Where can I find 5.0.0.130?

Once you update your device, the BBM will probably not work again, so make sure and go thru my steps again:
-uninstall BBM from phone
-do a battery pull
-download OTA from Blackberry Messenger 5 OTAs
-select the correct BBM for your device and OS
-once done, do another battery pull
