Uh, I think jlevy heard that from me. I think I am having iPhone desire. I mean I love my bold...but I LOVE those youtube vid's showing the iphone.

I have both a Bold and a Storm.

The Bold is an amazing device. It is fast, has an impressive screen, wifi, 3G capabilities, 1 gig built-in Flash memory, support for OS 5, etc.

Here is the downside: It is on America's largest terrible network. I have it. It cuts out everywhere, the 3G is great in America's top 50 markets, but outside of that (pretty much everywhere) it is running on Edge network where you get AT THE MOST 118 kB/s. Not worth that. Plus the Wifi doesn't allow you to have the phone calls route through that in low service areas, which is pretty much inside any building, aside from the fact that the browser itself will not pull through wifi, you have to use 3rd party browsers for it.

There will always be a place in my heart for the Bold, but my new Tour arrives Tuesday morning It is better in every respect.

On paper it is. Once you get it, its only a matter of time to realistically give its pros and cons. I'm not crazy about their qwerty keyboard size, same as 83xx, but I will take that 3.2mp camera though, they should of added that to the bold darn it.

I used to had a storm, liked it but doesn't play good with my carpal tunnel, plus I'm not comfortable with the touch screen.

I have a Bold, running on T-Mobile, I have full EDGE, browsing speed is just better than any other device on AT&T's 3g, I have wifi, not sure how it works on att but I don't need a 3rd party browser to browse using wifi, as for the lag of UMA support, well I'm digging on the Engineering screens to see if can be enabled, love the bold.

Between the Storm and the Bold, I'm 100 % Bold.

I have both. They're both great.

I have Bold right now i been looking for a Storm on Ebay for a decent price. Get it cheap enough and unlock it and have both to mess around with. A would be Storm be kewl toy

I had the Bold and it was a fantastic piece, the keyboard on it is absolutely fantastic. But as one of our members pointed out AT&T is by far the worst network I have used. So I had to get rid of it. SO VZW users the decision is between the Tour and the Storm and IMO it's all about personal preference.
