hey all, i currently own a blackberry bold 9000, i took it apart many times before to clean the trackball etc, and put it back together and it worked perfectly, now i tried it again this time, went to put it back together now all im getting is a white screen, i have all my bbm contacts on there, etc..is there any fix what so ever?.if so please share! :(
Sounds like when you took it apart it could have created a loose connection which is why your screen is not showing properly.
Have you tried a battery pull restart?
battery pull as in whilst phone is on, just pull out battery and then place it back in again?..if so then yes, i herd something about using electrical tape, also one last question, can you back up contacts, like bbm and normal phone book contacts if your in the white screen?..connected to computer via usb? thanks!
If the issue is just that you aren't getting any image to the screen, then I don't why you wouldn't be able to back up your device. But if the issue is a OS problem then you won't. Try and connect to DM and backup. Let us know what happens.Quote:
