Thread: Help! - blackberry 9000 update

I purchased a blackberry bold 9000 yesterday for my daughter and realized when i got home it was running on v4.6
i have been trying every way possible to update the os to atleast 5

i deleted the vendor file and tried downloading the new os and upl0ading it didnt work
i jus tried using bbsak v1.9.11 and it cant connect to my device \
im starting to get fustrated

can anyone help >????????????????????????

Try to find out if you got ALL the vendor.xml files deleted...

If u do follow the instructions given by joe u shud b fine, I just upgraded my 9000 from 4.6 to v5 no problem, and best part it became faster, esp the boot up.gud luck.
