Is there anything I can do to improve the volum on my bold 9000 its realy low

Hi its the ring volume I can hardly here the phone ring at all

Its the ringer volume I can hardly hear it at all

What is the volume level currently in your settings?

Also, click on your profiles (sound) icon and make sure it's not set to low.

Its on high

I had that problem before, I even checked the settings, the profile volume settings and nothing, even the speaker phone volume would sound really low. I think its a Bold 9000 flaw, I ended up getting it exchanged by AT&T. Hope that helps bro...

Unfortunately it can be the hardware. In that case there is nothing you can do except for change out the phone. Best thing to do would be to contact your service provider about phone warranty, ect.

You can check on eBay to too see what others are selling the Bold 9000 for. Keep in mind, does it come with accessories? condition?

If you had the issue after the device fell then I'm assuming it is a hardware problem and not a OS problem.

I had a couple of BOLD 9000s with the same problem. I took them apart, cleaned all the contacts and put them back together and volume back up to high. The audio section is in the plastic 'frame' that is under the back cover and surrounds the battery. Taking that off and cleaning contacts will solve the sound issue.

I also cleaned my trackball by taking it apart further - removing the circuit board from the chassis and then taking the trackball clip off to clean it. full of dust n stuff.

This was a spare 9000 that I could trash if my 'repair' didn't succeed but in fact it did, and I moved to the repaired 9000 - as good as new.

Lots of YouTube videos now on this topic. Wish they were around earlier...

Hope there will be some for the '10'
