    Question Hardware or Software problem?

    Guys I need to figure out how to solve this problem with my phone (which was an insurance replacement for a lost one).

    Basically the first thing I did when I got the phone was upgrade the OS to 5.0.0.610, but I find that every time I put on the phone speaker I get a loud screeching. Is this a potentially a software or hardware problem?

    Can anyone advise?

    only way to be 100% sure is to put the official OS back on and see what happens.
