Thread: Can't get wifi to connect

For some reason my wifi will not connect to my home network anymore. Every thing seems correct. Just that active profile-not connected. Everything is working with my modem so I am stuck.

well i tried changing my default browser to hotspot, now it is connected. if I use the browser later am I going to have to change it every time?

but now i am not connected to my enterprise server, and it says I am connected to wifi but the icon is not lit up like it should be

Have you tried a battery pull? You could also try rebooting your router.

Same. when I scan for a network it shows it and says connected. have single profile enabled. But on the home screen still doesn"t show it being connected. the wifi logo is not lit up. so I don't know if it is actually connected.

It doesn't connect automatically either. I had to rescan then it did the same. I will try that now.

It is the same, says connected but doesn't look like it is. Re saved the profile too.

Try going to mobile network options and verifying the connection preference is set to wifi preferred.

yeah all of that is set correctly. carrier, 3g and data service is on

Does your wifi network use any security/encryption?

well I did a wipe and reinstalled OS. It works fine now but BBSAK didn't reload my 3rd party apps so I have been doing that all night. The file is there and so are the apps. ??it would freeze before finish saving them then the window would turn white.

Could you explain your problem please just so that I understand correctly.

If you didn't connect your wi fi then you have to restart your phone and then also you have a problem then may be change the settings in your browser.opera mini is the best browser for internet in the mobile.
