Thread: Ran quick pull now trackball doesn't work

After running quick pull that I have ran in the past the trackball, menu key and escape key don't work. If I hold down the menu key that menu comes up and the trackball works there, but no where else. I pulled the battery and tried reloading the OS which is 5.0.464

my keyboard doesn't work either.

Did you wipe the OS off before reloading the OS?

No I didn't. I did read that thread that talked about wiping it first.

Well I reloaded the OS again and now everything works. ??

Yes. Especially if you are having an issue.

It seems all devices have personalities of their own. One will accept a new OS without a wipe and run fine, while another, identical one will go into brick mode. No rhyme or reason to it.
The best advice for something like this is to try a few battery pulls, wait a few minutes and try again, if that doesn't work to your liking, do a backup, wipe, and reload from scratch.

Ok I will do what you advise. Turned out I didn't have the right version of quick pull. Loaded the one that is for os 5 and now works fine.
