Thread: Turning handheld off? any help?

hey guys my phone keps saying turning handheld off not sure whats wrong any idea how to fix it plz?
i already when to to options and check on auto on/off and its disable

Maybe a stupid question: but could it be a power issue? Have you tried the 3 consecutive battery pulls already?

Have you installed any software recently?

well im trying to fix it, its not mine, it was doing it for long time what i did was update the os to see if that fies it but no so far, charching it again, im thinking its a batt problem, but wanst sure if u guys heard something about this kind of problems

Is it a Storm? I saw that you are using a Storm (at least according to your profile). If so, switch batteries. If the problem is fixed ... simple solution. If not, keep digging. It sounds like either a battery issue or damage to the device. Has it been dropped? Soaked?

It sounds like it may need charged. If that hasn't been said.

hey j its fully charged and still doing the same, battery life is good also

nope is not the battery guys, noyt sure what else to do :s

Try taking the battery out and holding the return key and then putting the battery back in and holding the return key until the phone boots

I'm going to go with.. major device issue.. I heard of this before.. and it was just a defective device.. I'm sure i'm stating the obvious here.. but someone has to do it..
