When is 5.0 coming out for 9000

Thanks tevansny. I was just wondering because I have a problem sometimes with the leaked version regarding the SMS. Sometimes when I go to click on a person's convo it won't let me. I even try to compose a new SMS to that person hoping that the convo would come up, but it doesn't. The only fix I have found so far is rebooting the device, which is annoying. I'll give the official release a go tomorrow and report back.

I think u dont need to look for certain version for OS5 since they include everything in standard release

umm.. so why they release multilanguage and east asian?

I installed the 5.0.0.464 official release and I still had the SMS problem. Anyone know why this is happening or if it has happened to anyone else?

This may sound stupid, but does an official OS from another carrier work? Like say if I'm on AT&T and I download the oficial OS from Rogers does that screw things up? I'm on call 24/7 with my 9000 but would love to freshen it up with the new OS but I just can't take the chance that it might brick it!

Yes it will work. You just need to delete the vendor.xml file and you are all set.
