DM 5.0 won't connect to bold
desktop manager (5.0) won't connect.
device manager (4.7) finds it.
Open Desktop Manager with the BlackBerry connected. Once the BB Manager opens select Options from the top menu and then select Connection Settings. From this window you will be able to select USB to ensure the Manager it looking for the device on the correct port.
did that.. it says USB, but no pin information like the device manager does.
4.6 worked fine for me..
maybe i need new BB drivers on the machine.
i'll let you know if i figure it out.
if your on vista make sure to disable on startup. you can only use it in administrator mode.
Completely uninstalled all the BB stuff I had
Insyalled the 4.7 BB drivers, then installed DM5.
Works fine now !
Thinking of loading OS5 on it this weekend.
