Does the "default" permissions set to allow have any unintended consequences with device security? It appears that the permissions default permissions are not application specific. Any thoughts?

I've set all of my permissions to "allow", as per instructed... as well as having everything on the proper setting.... and I'm still having issues.

I'm currently running Lyricidal's 238/296 Hybrid. I know that others here are running the same hybrid, without any problems.

Anyone have any ideas?

not working for me, i'm still getting an error. it says error while starting QuickPullLib. Application terminated...any ideas people?
im running the verizon .328

Just for the s&g's... I loaded .382 and QPP v. 3.6, and I still get the same thing.

Yet again... does anyone have any idea as to what's wrong?

Does this offer any advantage (other then scheduled reboots) over 'reset device' in QuickLaunch?

The scheduling is more detailed in regards towards how often and when you want to reset your phone. You can set it up daily on standard quick pull, but 3.6 offers you the chance to select specific days and times as well.

Great News! How you liking your storm 2. Have you upgraded to 320?

I have the beta and it will do manual resets, but not scheduled ones.

i have the same problem. its a BES thing. im about to call Appriver and see what they tell me. i will edit this post when i know something.

according to appriver, its not a BES issue. im now on hold with VZW blackberry support. the security timer reset option is not able to change from deny.

edit2:it is a BES thing. i was able to get it working after help from my BES admin. they need to change your it policy to allow you to change the security timer reset option. i started a thread on it with all the details.

i got the same thing and that becaue you went to "edit permission" on the same menu if ypu look down a little more there is "edit default permission" and thats what you what and set everything to allow and it sould work mine did..

I'm loving my Storm 2. Looks better than the Storm 1 and my coworkers like it better too. When I got it yesterday, it came with 320 already on it.
